Understanding the Wish List

With the Wish List, your shelter can curate a specific list of required items from Chewy’s inventory. Supporters can then directly access and shop from this list. Then the items are shipped directly to your shelter at no extra cost to you.

Eligibility and Participation

All non-profit shelters and rescues within the U.S. are eligible to create their own Wish List. If your shelter hasn’t yet taken advantage of this opportunity, you might want to consider it. It not only provides another channel in your donation process, but can also enhance your visibility. Supporters can easily locate your shelter on Chewy.com through the Give Back link in the site footer.

How it Works

Once your Wish List is active, supporters can view and select from the items you’ve listed. Upon completion of their purchase, Chewy manages the logistics, delivering the items directly to your shelter’s location. Additionally, Chewy will notify you via email about incoming donations, so you know what’s coming.
