What is Shelter Roundtable?

Shelter Roundtable is a membership-based platform that offers marketing templates, content tools, fundraising kits, and training resources for animal shelters and rescues. Everything is designed specifically to help you save time, improve outreach, and get more pets adopted.

Who is Membership best suited for?

Membership is best suited to those who manage the marketing needs of an animal shelter or rescue organization. (Primarily dogs and cats.) Our content is designed to provide ideas, inspiration and content to speed up an organization’s marketing and outreach efforts.

How do I join Shelter Roundtable?

You can sign up for a free account anytime. Upgrading to Pro gives you instant access to everything.

What are the main membership features?

Our Content Library, updated monthly, contains Canva template assets. You can easily edit every aspect of the image, from the logo, to colors, fonts, and even the images. You can resize your image for Facebook, Twitter or any size you need. A short write-up is included with each asset to help you create a social media post.

The Tools section contains AI-enhanced tools that help you create marketing copy for animal adoptions, social media, letters, and more.

The Blueprint section contains descriptions and assets (social media and handout templates) for for promotional events.

The Community section allows you to connect with other members. Ask questions, get feedback and let us know what you need.

 

What are the different membership levels?

We have three membership levels. Free, Standard and Pro.

  • The Free Membership is, well, free. It provides access to limited templates, content, and tool access.
  • Pro Membership gives you complete template access, the full tool suite and additional content.

How is Canva used for the graphic templates?

Most of our Library assets are Canva templates that are shared with you. Canva is an easy to use graphic design program. When you use a template for, say a social media post, you import the asset into your own Canva account. Then you can use the asset as it is, or you can edit the logo, colors, fonts, photos and rearrange the layout as much as you want. You can even copy and resize the graphic for different uses.

How do the content tool credits work?

Every account comes with a set amount of credits each month that can be applied toward some of the tools. For example, the Animal Adoption Bio Generator costs one credit per use. The number of monthly credits available will vary depend if you are on the Free (15 credits per month) or Pro Membership (250 credits/month) level.

Free Member accounts have limited tool access. Pro Members have access to everything.

Credits are reset each month on the day of your registration.

Is there a trial membership?

To try out the site, sign up for the Basic Free Membership. That will give you access to a good amount of the site resources and limited AI credits. Then, if you want to upgrade, simply sign up for a Standard or Pro Membership.

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

You can manage your plan from your account profile. Pro upgrades apply immediately.

How do I cancel a Pro subscription?

You can cancel your account at any time by going to your account page and selecting the Subscriptions tab. Here you will see an option to ‘Cancel’ next to your current subscription.

Click the Cancel link and you’re all done. You’ll receive an email confirmation that cancellation was successful.

Once you cancel your account you will retain access to the Roundtable until your current subscription period ends. You can of course rejoin anytime in the future!

Please cancel your account BEFORE your next payment is due and avoid leaving it to the last minute. It is best to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your billing date to ensure you are not charged due to time differences. You will retain access to the Roundtable until your next payment is due, so you can cancel as far in advance as you would like.
